Hi, I'm Aly
I'm a software engineering student at the University of Western Ontario with a deep love for computers, technology, and all the puzzles they bring.
I engineer software, design circuits, and work on projects both solo and with any team that shares the drive to create something meaningful.
What Drives Me
I'm passionate about building systems that tackle real-world challenges — things that matter beyond the computer screen or classroom. My interests focus on:
- Autonomy — Not just self-driving cars, but teaching machines to think, adapt, and solve problems we can't.
- Engineering With Impact — Creating tools that help people, improve lives, and make the world a little better.
- Global solutions — especially for public systems like transit, safety, or accessibility. We have a responsibility to create for the whole world.
- Difficult problems — I'm drawn to ambiguity, complexity, and the unsolved. Every challenge is an invitation to push technical boundaries further.
Outside of engineering, I love space, physics, and ancient history, I play chess, football (the real kind), and my favourite song is Fragile by Laufey.
