Hi, I'm Aly
I'm a software engineering student at Western University with a deep love for computers, technology, and all the puzzles they bring.
I engineer software, design circuits, and work on projects both solo and with any team that shares the drive to create something meaningful.
What Drives Me
I'm passionate about building systems that tackle real-world challenges — things that matter beyond the computer screen or classroom. My interests focus on:
- Robotics — I love bringing tech solutions into real life. This includes autonomous vehicles, robots, and control systems.
- Social Impact — Creating tools that help people, improve lives, and make the world a little better.
- Global solutions — especially for public systems like transit, safety, or accessibility. We have a responsibility to create for the whole world.
- Difficult problems — I'm drawn to ambiguity, complexity, and the unsolved. Every challenge is an invitation to push technical boundaries further.
Outside of engineering, I love space, physics, and ancient history, I play chess, football (the real kind), and my favourite song is Fragile by Laufey.
Projects
I'm quite mixed-genre when it comes to my projects - you'll find projects of mine spanning lots of subjects - but here are some of my favourites!
